Popularly titled as the 'Jewel in Laos Crown', Luang Prabang (an UNESCO World Heritage City) is a cup full of diversity flowing around. It has worked wonders to preserve its natural aesthetics and manages to charm the tourist with its splendid vibes.

  • Alms Giving Ceremony: This is the perfect way to explore the traditions of Laos, i.e. by becoming a part of sacred Buddhist Alms Giving Ceremony. Although termed as a highly placed rituals only for locals, visitors can be a part with due respect towards the traditions.
  • Elephant Village Sanctuary: This sanctuary is close to Nam Khan River banks and provides a peaceful and green future for rescued elephants.
  • Kuang Si Waterfall: Kuang Si (Xi) Waterfall is a 50-metre, three tiered drop with spectacular cobalt pools flowing along with it. These pools are great for swimming and said to be one of the major attractions for tourists.   • Royal Palace Museum: Also known as Haw Kham, this museum comprises of well-groomed gardens and spacious areas to explore the divinities. You can give a couple of hours learning about Laos’s cultural aspects and history.

  • Arts & Ethnology Centre: Traditional Arts & Ethnology Centre offers a rare sight to visitors into the rich culture of Laotian people through pictures, videos and quotes. It is established as the only museum which is non-profit.
  • Wat Xieng Thong: It is widely known as the ‘Golden Tree Monastery’, and said to be the top-most place for several festivals and gatherings to be held. This was once said to be a significant place for crowning of Laos kings.
